About SY Tuition

SY Tuition offers 1-2-1 Maths, Piano & Music Theory lessons to students in Aylesbury.  

All lessons are bespoke to the student and offered in the comfort of your own home.​

My name is Stephanie Yank, I moved to Aylesbury three years ago and live with my husband, son and our dog.

​

We are now settled in the area and I started maternity leave in November 2021, so this felt like the perfect opportunity to start my tutoring business.

 

This is something I have been planning for a long time, but have never had the time to invest, so I am very excited to be doing this now.

Qualifications:

  • 1st class honours degree in Maths & Music from University of Birmingham

  • Studied piano under concert pianist Di Xiao at the Birmingham Conservatoire for two years

  • MSc Mathematics of Cryptography & Communications (Awarded with Distinction) from Royal Holloway, University of London

  • Grade 8 Piano, ABRSM

  • Grade 8 Flute, ABRSM

Other Experience

  • Maths tuition for Key Stage 2, 3 and GCSEs

  • Volunteer for 2 years as a Learning Support Assistance for a Fast Track GCSE course.
